Celebrate good times...

Matt and I were able to get over to the Athens area, Statham (pronounced Stay-Dum), GA to be exact. We were there to celebrate the 60th birthday of a very good friend, Dave Christopher. The venue was beautiful and the company, fun. We even made some new friends as we danced the night away to all the cheesy hits from the 1960’s, ‘70’s, 80’s,…well, you get the point.

The Georgia Club in Statham, Ga...between mapquest and two different people we found it at last, and in time to catch it on film before the sun set.
This picture was taken by Kyle...pretty cool shot, huh?
Two Clemson college graduates looking confused...surprised?

It was a part-tay folks! Complete with flashing, colored lights.

This is what Jeanie Christopher called “the DJ’s surprise.” And, surprise us she did with her own vocal accompaniment to many songs including, but not limited to: The Happy Birthday song and even the Electric Slide…yep, she was a surprise all right.

Dave breaking out the old clogs to Rocky Top...I heard he was sore the next day.

Also coinciding with Dave’s big 60th celebration was the Christopher’s 30th wedding anniversary. This is the veil Jeannie wore on their wedding day!

The big birthday surprise of the night was Kyle’s arrival from San Diego, California. It was, as always, great to see Kyle along with the entire Christopher family. (Scott, Lane, and Kyle)

Say "cheesey," Kyle.

A pensive Lane.

Pretty lights.

The night got craaazy.
