A couple of days ago my loving hubby came home and said, "Is it okay if I invite some of the seniors over for kind-of a graduation dinner?" (paraphrasing of-course)...Knowing my type-A personality I set to cleaning and making the house "presentable" for hosting this little swaray (sp). It turned out to be a lot of fun.
Oh the menu:
Pan-fried grouper with a butter sauce
Steamed green beans
Spinach and Romaine salad with genetically enhanced strawberries (they were massive and D-lish)
Yellow Rice
Tea
It was fun chatting and eating and of course to top it off I suggested we play 90's Trivial Pursuit. Let's just say the combination of a late Friday evening, eating a large meal, and thinking to remember obscure facts from the 90's can make some appear...well, not-smart. Fortunately, it only took about 2 hours to finish.
