Meet Lucy and Macy the newest addition to our home

Posted by Picasa I know what most of you must be thinking, "oh no, not cats!" But before your underwear gets tied in knots let me introduce to you Lucy (the black kitty) and Macy (the not-black kitty). They are wonderful and challenging at the same time. So, yes you are correct when you wonder if Matt isn't thrilled with this idea...he says Lucy's name must be short for Lucifer. But they are loving and little and needed a home. We adopted them back in January through Fur Kidsa volunteer animal rescue organization in Atlanta. It's interesting to see their personalities take shape and as a new "parent" the trial and errors of our "parenting skills." Only I don't think we'll be allowed to put a kid in the bathroom for a long stretch of time with a food dish, a bed, and a litter box. I'll let you know in a few months if they are still here or if Matt has introduced them to the joys of playing in the street.

There was a wild colonial boy, Jack Duggan was his name.
He was born and raised in Ireland in a place called Castlemaine
He was his father's only son, his mother's pride and joy
And dearly did his parents love the Wild Colonial Boy.
